In February 2017，JAC Capital successfully completed the transaction of acquiring the standard product (SP) business unit from NXP for the consideration of 2.75 billion USD. The new company operates under the name Nexperia and its product offerings include logic devices, discrete devices and power devices, with annual production capacity of 100 billion pieces. This is the only Chinese deal among the world top 10 semiconductor M&A deals, and also the biggest semiconductor M&A deal backed by capital from China so far.
